Equestrian FAQ

Saddles

What facilities are available in the community stable?

Our community stable offers an indoor heated wash bay, separate tack and feed rooms, a riders lounge and kitchen, a restroom for riders, and a front loading washer and dryer.

How large are the stalls?

Each of our stalls is 12×12 and fully matted. We chose to use Woodstar stall systems for their functionality, durability, and attractive appearance.

How do you ensure proper ventilation in the stable?

In addition to dutch doors and individual fans in each stall, the stable also has a 16 foot wide aisle with four over-sized entrances. To further enhance the ventilation in the stable, both the gables and cupolas are vented.

Where are hay and shavings stored?

Hay and shavings are stored in a detached building located behind the stable. They each have a separate storage room with a roll up door for easy access and ventilation for moisture and heat control.

Does the stable offer any safety features?

In addition to storing the hay and shavings in a separate building, the stable is fitted with monitored smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
