The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, which is part of the Cliffs Communities, features a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. This gated community has a clubhouse and a wellness facility with tennis courts, along with hiking and biking trails. The community spans over 1500 acres. It is located about ten miles from Asheville, which is a wonderful city with many shopping and dining options.
Kenmure
Kenmure is a 1400 acre community in Flat Rock, about ten minutes south of Hendersonville. This community also features a golf course and clubhouse. They boast diverse social opportunities for their residents as well as access to a fitness facility with pools, steam saunas and tennis.
Creston
Creston in Black Mountain, which is also near Asheville, offers residents access to their community center, gazebo, and private park with streams and waterfalls. With incredible, long-range mountain views, it is a great escape while still being located near the city. With 1100 acres, residents have plenty of space to relax.
Cummings Cove
Cummings Cove is another great golf community. This one is located just miles from downtown Hendersonville, and is only a short trip from both Brevard and Asheville. It also features mountain views, a clubhouse, and a fitness facility. With 650 acres, it is smaller than the other communities, but still offers many amenities for its residents.
The Ramble at Biltmore Forest
The Ramble at Biltmore Forest is situated on over 1000 acres. It is another wonderful option for those people who do not require a golf course within their gated community. Their main focus is on the architecture within the community. It is also community that is closest to downtown Asheville. They feature a fitness facility and community walking trails.
